Weight loss can be sustainable with our Total Lifestyle Change approach.  Food and diet are only part of the solution.  

Have you ever thought about what you were eating and why? Do you know what you were thinking and feeling at the time you were choosing which food to eat? Were you sad, anxious, or stressed about something? Or, had you just finished a stressful experience and felt the need for ‘comfort food’? Have you ever heard the term, ‘emotional eating’? 

 

Firstly, let me tell you, you are NOT alone. Many people turn to food for comfort and relief from stress. To change even one stress response to a calm response is very difficult and usually requires energy, willingness and commitment to self-change. While treating weight loss requires a change in nutrition as well as exercise, the American Psychological Association indicates that permanent weight loss and lifestyle change is never successful as long as you remain burdened by stress and other negative thoughts and feelings. Saibil Counselling & Consulting can help you design an action plan to manage these challenging thoughts, feelings, and behavioural choices, towards Total Lifestyle Change.

FEES AND INSURANCE

COVERAGE

Clients can access workplace insurance benefits and/or extended healthcare coverage for services.

 

Our services are covered if your extended health benefits or workplace insurance plan covers sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist.  

COST

The cost for a 50-minute session is $255/session.  The session fee will be applied for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
